This is a little series that I am going to start. I have been studying this entire pandemic from the beginning and I have learned a few things. I am not a doctor. What I am telling you is simply what I have found out. It will be short and sweet, and it is open to debate.
Firstly, my understanding is that masks do not protect the person wearing it. Doctors use masks in operations but the mask is there to protect the patient, not the doctor. Secondly, the mask is there to protect the patient from bacteria, not a virus.
A virus is about the size of a water molecule. It can pass through glass. Good luck stopping that with a mask. Bacteria are much larger and can be stopped with a mask. Bacteria are also more dangerous. Infections are nothing to play with.
