This morning The Weather Channel announced that Hurricane Marco is experiencing high wind shear. On the surface, winds are pushing Marco to the West. But, in the upper atmosphere, winds are blowing it East. Thus, the rain is falling to the East of Marco. As the hurricane travels West, it will probably be a dry storm. We will get high winds but no rain, probably none at all.
The graphic is from this morning. Marco is coming at us, but the good news is that the rain will be minimal – if any at all. Thank god because Houston does not handle rain to well.
