This is an interesting video that I found. Iran is a very old culture, at least over 3,000 years. Their language is part of the same family of languages as English. Other countries in the area either speak their tongue or speak a language that is derived from their language – Turkey, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Pakistan; even India and Bangladesh.
Over the centuries, this nation has fought, or been conquered by, powers such as the Greeks, Romans, Arabs, Turks, and Mongols. Thus, Iran shares ethnic, religious, and racial bonds with many countries in the region. They are respected in Asia for their past greatness.
This video is a bit dated – perhaps over 1 year. However, I think it offers a vital perspective into what the West is dealing with in that part of the world. Please click the image below to watch the video.
