Hanson Wade is hosting the 4th Oil and Gas Supply Chain Logistics Conference in Houston, Texas at the Westin Memorial City, October 24 – 26, 2017.  It is important to have a game plan when it comes to the delivery of equipment to the oil field and transmitting those vital hydrocarbons to eager customers.  This conference aims to discuss critical issues related to the oil and gas supply chain logistics:

  • The use of technology, automation, and analytics.
  • Streamline supply chains and logistics to a fluctuating and uncertain industry.
  • Integrating compliance and sustainability practices to the supply chain process, thus protecting a firm’s financial position.

Last year’s meeting was a great success.  One stand out issue from that meeting was the importance of mobilizing manpower and talent when it is needed.  At that time, the industry saw very low oil prices; and having the ability to muster up talent during a market resurgence was an issue of discussion.  Staffing is also part of the supply chain.

This year’s conference will prove to be equally insightful.  Hope to see you there.
